The Aviation Safety (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2025 published for sailplanes, balloons, aeroplanes and helicopters
Changes to flight crew licensing regulations arising from the General Aviation Licensing and Training Simplification project have been published in the Aviation Safety (Amendment) Regulations 2025.
Provisions applicable to sailplanes in UK Regulation (EU) 2018/1976 for come into force on 15 September 2025.
Provisions applicable to UK Regulation (EU) 2018/395 (balloons) and UK Regulation (EU) No.1178/2011 (aeroplanes and helicopters) come into force 1 October 2025.
