Revision to BCAR Section L Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (CAP 468) for greater alignment with the current UK regulatory framework

BCAR Section L Licensing – Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (CAP 468) was last revised in 2003.

BCAR Section L is applicable to non-Part 21, including those aircraft detailed by Annex I to UK Regulation (EU) 2018/1139.

The changes streamline BCAR licencing, facilitate conversion from a Part‑66, and update regulatory references providing a simpler regulations that is more explicit on scope and responsibilities.
