Policy framework for new types of Vertical-Take Off and Landing (VTOL) aircraft

The CAA has set an ambition to implement the regulatory framework and operational systems needed for commercial flights by new types of vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) aircraft by the end of 2028. Regulatory change is required to enable CAA’s ambition to be delivered.

We invite the public and VTOL industry stakeholders to give us their views on our proposed legislative changes.
