New UK SORA Operations Manual Template Published

The CAA has published a new General Operations Manual template for UAS operators applying for an operational authorisation under UK SORA.

The template provides a clear structure for developing an Operations Manual and sets out the information applicants should include.

It contains suggested compliant wording, guidance for completing each section, and supporting advice that operators can adapt to reflect their organisation, UAS and intended activities.

By giving applicants a more consistent starting point, the template should help reduce preparation time and support clearer, more complete submissions.
