DRONE ONLY – New Restricted Airspace – National Security Act (Ministry of Defence Prohibited Places) effective from 19 February 2026

New drone only Restricted Airspace for National Security Act (NSA) (Ministry of Defence Prohibited Places) comes into effect 19 February 2026.

Check NOTAM B0203/26 for NSA amendments within the UK AIP – ENR 5.1.

Requests to operate inside these Restricted Areas should be made by completing and submitting the CAA Airspace Regulation notification form via the CAA Customer Portal – ACOMS.

Exemptions, if approved, will then be issued by the National Security Act site authority.
