DAA Policy Concept v2 published
The CAA has published DAA Policy Concept v2.
It develops the 2024 consultation proposals into a live policy concept for the test phase, with a defined regulatory pathway, expanded requirements, indicative compliance material and a detailed qualification framework.
The framework supports applicants proposing DAA capabilities as tactical air-risk mitigations within the UK SORA process.
For developers, operators and prospective applicants, it provides a clearer and more structured basis for planning assurance activity and engaging with the CAA.
