Consultation: System Wide Information Management (SWIM) and webinar for stakeholders

The UK Civil Aviation Authority has launched a consultation on its proposed approach to System Wide Information Management (SWIM). SWIM will support the secure and interoperable exchange of aviation information, helping organisations share accurate, timely and consistent operational data.

The consultation seeks views on the Preliminary Draft SWIM Implementation Framework and the guidance needed to support its adoption across the UK aviation ecosystem. Stakeholders are invited to review the framework and provide feedback to help shape future implementation. The consultation closes on 6 January 2027.

We will also be holding a stakeholder webinar on Wednesday 25 November 2pm to 3pm to provide further detail on the scope of the consultation and framework, with an opportunity to ask questions.
