Consultation on proposed Electronic Conspicuity mandate

The UK Civil Aviation Authority has launched a public consultation on its proposed approach to an Electronic Conspicuity (EC) mandate for all civil aircraft operating below Flight Level 100 (approximately 10,000 feet) in UK airspace.

The Department for Transport has concluded that a national EC mandate is needed, and the CAA is consulting on its proposed approach to how it should be designed and introduced.

The consultation closes on 22 September
