Call for input into MET requirements for UAS operations

The Met Office will be conducting a study, supported by the CAA, to understand how weather impacts UAS operations, with a focus on safety and operational impacts that aims to identify user needs and requirements.

The Met Office is preparing to conduct research across a diverse range of stakeholders within the UAS ecosystem during September and October 2026 through short and informal video calls via Microsoft Teams, as well as selected site visits and workshops.
