ATCO Initial Unit Endorsement Assessment Board Chair

Currently the board for an Initial Unit Endorsement Assessment must be chaired by a CAA ATS Inspector (Operations). This remains the case with some exceptions.

Where it is appropriate to do so, the CAA may authorise a unit assessor to chair an initial unit endorsement assessment board.

ATC Service Providers should review, and amend, if necessary, their Unit Training Plans to allow for the introduction of this new process.
