New CAP on drone and eVTOL noise
The CAA has published CAP3304 Managing Noise from Emerging Aviation Technology. It examines how noise from drones and electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft could be assessed and managed in the UK.
The CAP reviews the existing framework, identifies areas requiring further development, and sets out proportionate options and early priorities for a transitional national drone noise policy.
