New information leaflet – Flying in a General Aviation aircraft
The CAA have published a new leaflet to help people understand what to expect from a General Aviation (GA) flight and feel informed before deciding whether to fly.
We encourage pilots, flying schools, clubs, operators and instructors to share it with anyone new to GA flying, including friends or family flying for the first time, people considering a recreational flight, and those undertaking trial or introductory lessons.
Sharing the leaflet before a flight can help prospective passengers better understand the experience and make informed decisions.
