Criteria for accepting the airspace change masterplan

The airspace change masterplan is a single coordinated implementation plan of interdependent airspace change proposals modernising airspace out to 2040. To ensure the masterplan is consistent with government policy and CAA statutory functions, the CAA must ‘accept’ it into our Airspace Modernisation Strategy.

Today we publish the criteria that must be met for acceptance as CAP2156a Airspace Change Masterplan – CAA acceptance criteria and CAP2156b Airspace Change Masterplan – assessment framework. CAP2156c explains how you can give your input to masterplan development, and CAP2157 explains how we took into account your responses to our 2020 engagement exercise.
