Following exit from the EU, the UK is entering a transition period scheduled to continue until December 31, 2020.
In this period, the UK will continue to be party to the EU Air Services Regulation and mutual recognition provisions under the EASA Basic Regulation. Existing agreements between the EU and third countries, such as on air connectivity and aviation safety, will continue to include the UK. Businesses and individuals operating in the UK should therefore see no change to existing conditions during the transition period.
We have updated the microsite to reflect the beginning of the transition period.
