UK Part 26 Compliance for UK STC Holders

Generic exemption ORS4 No. 1619 and Skywise message (SW2025/027) was issued, effective 13 Feb 2025.

Generic exemption ORS4 No. 1619 allows until 26 Feb 2026 for UK aircraft owners, operators and CAMOs of aircraft within scope of UK Reg (EU) 2015/640 (UK Part 26) to update their maintenance programmes with UK Part 26 requirements from all STC holders including those from the UK.  

However, UK Part 26, 26.330 series, requires compliance by UK STC holders, for which the deadline has passed. The UK CAA is unable to issue any retrospective exemptions.  

For UK aircraft owners, operators and CAMOs to comply with 26.370 by 26 Feb 2026, the UK CAA requires that UK STC holders must submit outstanding Part 26 documentation to the UK CAA for approval at the earliest date, but not exceeding 26 August 2025.
