Operation of ‘Permit-to-Fly’ Ex-Military Aircraft on the UK Register (Edition 8, 2020)

CAP 632: Operation of ‘Permit-to-Fly’ Ex-Military Aircraft on the UK Register specifies the operational requirements that an applicant for the issue of a Permit-to-Fly for an ex-military aircraft is required to meet. The maintenance requirements are set out in BCAR Chapters A8-23 and A8-25.

This new edition updates requirements and expands guidance for operators of ex-military permit-to-fly aircraft following consultation. It reflects recent changes to ex-military aircraft regulation and CAP403 on air displays, as well as revisions to CAP1395 Safety Standards Acknowledgment & Consent.
