CAA protects holidaymakers after travel company collapse

More than 2,000 holidaymakers are being assisted by the Air Travel Organisers’ Licensing (ATOL) protection scheme following the collapse of Exclusive Escapes, a specialist travel company based out of Surrey.

The company had around 500 people abroad at the time, so the CAA has been in touch with hotels and airlines to ensure all their ATOL protected holidaymakers are able to complete their holiday and return to the UK as scheduled. The 1,750 customers with future bookings will also all get full refunds thanks to the scheme.
